Managing Director

Rod started with Inspec Industries in February 2014, and as Managing Director – he oversees our whole team, keeping everyone focused and getting the business to where it needs to be. He has a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, and is known for his drive and dedication to his work. Rod believes the best thing about Inspec is the company’s ability to think outside the box and deliver high quality customer service.

General Manager

Commencing his role at Inspec as Operations Manager in October 2017, Darren quickly moved through the ranks to General Manager in 2020. Darren’s current role involves mentoring and guiding the Inspec team, while creating opportunities for both the staff and the company. Darren has worked in the heavy equipment industry for two decades, giving him the experience needed to help further develop our growing team. One thing Darren enjoys most about his role is having the ability to help people realise their full potential.

Health, Safety & Training Manager

In February 2017, Rod took up the role of Health, Safety and Training Manager at Inspec. Rod’s passion and determination for the health, safety and wellbeing of all Inspec personnel and their families is evident in every aspect of Inspec business.

Over the twenty years Rod has been involved in Health and Safety, he has worked for and with many different operations within the Bowen Basin and understands the importance of sharing this experience and knowledge with everyone at Inspec.

Inspec’s goal of providing a safe work environment for all our people, and to allow each and every person to return home safely at the end of each work day is supported through Rod’s promotion of Safety enthusiasm and by providing strong leadership in all areas of Health & Safety.

Chief Financial Officer

Having worked in conjunction with Inspec Industries for a number of years, Stacey came on board full time as our Finance Manager in 2021. After a successful 2 years in the position, Stacey was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2023. Stacey is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, so much so that even when moving to NSW, Stacey agreed to continue to offer expert guidance on finance, management and heavy industry remotely.

Stacey is as strong believer in continuous improvement and encourages others to understand that we cannot improve unless we continually question, refine and challenge our methods, while understanding it may be uncomfortable, though little is achieved by taking the easy option.
