Inspec’s blast and paint division is located inside our Mackay workshop and offers both abrasive blasting and industrial spray painting. We have the ability to repaint all equipment large and small. Our blast and paint booths are manufactured in accordance with the requirements set down in AS 4114 parts 1 and 2 (2003) and AS 3000:2000. Our booths also offer a fall arrest systems for our technicians to work safely and efficiently on all machinery.
All work produced by our blast and paint team is quality tested throughout the coating process to ensure compliance in each phase of the operation. This includes air temperature, surface temperature, dew point, and relative humidity. Inspec's team of Qualified Blaster & Painters can offer surface preparation for new, repair or refurbish steelwork followed by the application of your specified protective coatings. Coatings range from 2 pack polyurethanes, to inorganic and zinc rich epoxy primers, single or 2 pack high build zinc phosphates or high build epoxies.
